Howe looks to make quality additions
Eddie Howe will be looking to add quality rather than quantity to his Bournemouth squad during the summer transfer window.
Like all Premier League managers, Howe will be hoping to bolster his ranks throughout the close season, but he will not be dashing out to completely revamp his squad.
The Cherries added Jefferson Lerma, David Brooks and Diego Rico to their squad last summer, and barring a number of players being lured away, Howe looks set to do the same again this year.
‘I don’t think a massive overhaul is ever good for us.
I think every manager says it, we’re looking at quality rather than quantity.
We’ll wait and see,’ he said.
‘There’s no guarantees, I think I say every year that there are no guarantees we’ll be successful in our attempts to do what we want to do.
‘We’ve got a good nucleus of a squad here, I think that’s the key thing.
I don’t think there needs to be drastic changes but of course we would like to add quality if we can.’
