Cherries finalise Kelly transfer
Bournemouth have confirmed they have completed the signing of England Under-21 international Lloyd Kelly.
The Cherries have managed to tempt Bristol City into selling the defender and the two clubs have agreed an undisclosed fee.
Kelly has put pen to paper on a long-term deal at the Vitality Stadium, but the club have refused to confirm the length of the contract.
The 20-year-old, who can play at both left-back and centre-back, claims he is ready to make the step up to the Premier League after making 48 appearances for the Robins.
He told afcbTV: ‘It’s a fantastic club.
The move has come around quite quickly, but I’m happy to be here and can’t wait to start playing.
‘Premier League football is what I’ve always wanted to achieve.
I want to play as many games as possible and I feel like this is the right place for me to try and do that.’
