Bordalas rebuffs speculation as he pledges future to Getafe
Getafe have been boosted by the news coach Jose Bordalas is set to stay at the club for the 2019-20 La Liga campaign.
The 55-year-old has enjoyed a successful three seasons at Los Azulones having guided the club back to the top-flight at the first attempt in his first campaign at the helm, while he has just finished his third year by securing an impressive fifth-placed finish.
Bordalas was named Coach of the Season in La Liga on UEFA.

However, when asked about his future, Bordalas said: ‘There is no reason to think anything other than I’ll continue here.
‘I have to keep repeating myself, but I have a contract with Getafe and I want to continue with Getafe.
‘ President Angel Martin added: ‘Our coach is Bordalas and we are planning together for next season, we have already spoken about potential players and dates for pre-season.’
