Juventus linked with Pep after Klopp says no
Juventus are ready to appoint Pep Guardiola as their next manager after Jurgen Klopp turned down the job, reports have claimed.
Juve are on the look-out for a new coach following the surprise decision to part company with Max Allegri last week and reports have been rife suggesting that both Guardiola and Klopp, along with Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino have been on their wanted list.
The Old Lady are desperate to win the Champions League, something they have not done since 1996, and have identified Guardiola and Klopp as the two coaches who could help produce the goods.
Klopp is not interested and is thought to have turned down an approach, but reports in Italy say Guardiola is, and have gone as far as suggesting a four-year deal is in place.
Guardiola has just clinched back-to-back Premier League titles with Manchester City along with an historic treble, but that is not stopping reports suggesting he is now ready to jump ship an join the Italian champions.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is another to be mentioned, but is thought that Chelsea are now keen to keep hold.
