Wolves boss hails ever-present ace
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has paid tribute to Conor Coady after he managed to play every minute of every game this season.
The 26-year-old has been the unsung hero for Wolves on their return to the top flight, playing 46 games and 4,170 minutes of football as they exceeded all expectations in the Premier League.
The Wolves skipper has been a rock at the back after switching from midfield, and Nuno has nothing but praise for the player, who will now get a well-earned rest over the summer.
‘It’s fantastic,’ Nuno said.
‘He’s a player that is available for all of the training sessions and all of the games.
‘I’m very proud that he did it.
It’s the spirit of the team, it could be another player.
But I think he has shown as a captain that he has led by example, so I’m very proud.’
