Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says the club will carry out an investigation as to why the suffered so many injuries last term.

It was a patchy campaign for the Cherries as the boss was forced to juggle his pack on a number of occasions, notably being left without nine first-team players for their final fixture.

Howe says the medical team will now carry out a review to try and discover any regular themes and see if there is anything they can do about it.

He told the Daily Echo: ‘Of course.

We will be sitting down and doing a full review of everything that we have delivered.

‘We have had experts come in and look at our training pitches to see if they have made a difference.

‘We are trying to find the reasons why we have suffered so many this season.’
