Newcastle plot Bryan bid
Fulham could face a fight to keep hold of Joe Bryan this summer as Newcastle have been linked with the defender.
The Magpies were keen on Bryan last year but Fulham won the battle for his signature, landing the 25-year-old in a £6million deal from Bristol City.
The Cottagers are keen to keep hold of the left-back but Bryan may be tempted by the chance to play Premier League football next season after Fulham’s relegation.
Newcastle are yet to tie Rafael Benitez down to a new deal and it remains unclear whether or not they will push ahead with new signings until a decision is reached on the manager’s future but it has still been suggested Bryan is a target.
Bryan is under contract at Craven Cottage until 2022 and Fulham should be able to make a profit on the defender if they are forced into a sale during the summer window.
