Allegri targets stylish exit
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has challenged his players to end their season in style on Sunday at Sampdoria.
The 51-year-old announced he would be departing the Turin giants earlier this month, bringing the curtain down on a reign that has seen them win Serie A in each of his five years in charge.
As a tribute to his squad players, Allegri has pledged to field a number of fringe stars against Marco Giampaolo’s side, who have enjoyed another decent season in mid-table.
Despite little riding on the game in Genoa, the Bianconeri coach is demanding a performance from his troops in his final game.
He said: ‘We have to finish in style against a team that has made a great championship for which Giampaolo must be given credit.
‘Then we go to the sea to sunbathe and have ice cream.
Thanks for everything.’
