Lockyer a Tigers target
Hull City face a battle to sign Oldham defender George Edmundson but could land Welsh international centre-back Tom Lockyer on a free.
The Scottish Sun state Rangers are set to make an improved bid for the 21-year-old Latics star, who has one year left on his Boundary Park contract, next week.
The Glasgow giants had an initial bid of £400,000 rejected last week while the League Two club have also turned down offers from Hull and Peterborough United.
Stoke City, Derby County and Wigan Atletic have also been credited with an interest in Edmundson.
The Tigers might find it easier to sign 24-year-old Lockyer, who is soon to be out of contract after seven years at Bristol Rovers.
The 24-year-old, who has five full caps for Wales and over 255 league appearances to his name, is a rumoured target for Nigel Adkins.
