Spurs happy to loan back Leeds target
Tottenham have stepped up their pursuit of Jack Clarke and will loan him back to Leeds if a deal can be agreed.
Spurs were linked with the 18-year-old in January and continued to monitor his development during the second half of 2018-19.
He made 24 appearances in the Championship last term after breaking into the first-team picture, scoring twice, although he was unable to help Leeds to win promotion.
Reports claim Leeds are reluctant to let their academy graduate depart but Spurs are hoping to tempt the West Yorkshire outfit with a potential loan.
It’s understood they would allow Clarke to return to Elland Road for the 2019-20 campaign but that would involve Leeds reducing their £20million valuation.
