Reports claim striker Timo Werner will only leave RB Leipzig this summer if he can secure a move to Bayern Munich.

The 23-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Allianz Arena but Die Bullen have so far been able to hang onto their prized asset.

However, the Germany international hitman has just one year to run on his current deal and the Saxony outfit will not want to risk losing him for nothing in the summer of 2020.

Therefore they may well entertain bids for Werner over the next few weeks, with Liverpool also said to be keen on the former Stuttgart man.

Werner is hot property in the Bundesliga and, while not at his best last season, still has 50 goals form 93 German top-flight appearances in his career.

Bild are suggesting that, if he leaves it will only be for the Bavarians who seem unwilling to part with the 60m euros that Leipzig would demand for the forward.

They may wait to see how his contract situation develops but risk seeing another club enter the race as his contract runs down.
