Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven have confirmed they have tied down midfielder Robin Schoonbrood to a new contract.

The 20-year-old midfielder has agreed fresh terms with the club and will now be tied down until at least the end of the 2020 season.

Schoonbrood has yet to make a first-team appearance for PSV but he has made 21 appearances for the club’s Under-21 team.

He made his debut against FC Utrecht in September and PSV chiefs are now expecting a bright future for the youngster.

PSV have also confirmed Laros Duarte has left the club to join Sparta Rotterdam on a permanent transfer.

He joined on loan during the winter break and he has now signed a three-year contract with the newly-promoted Eredivisie club.
