Foxes open with Villa clash in November
Wolves will have to wait until November to face West Midlands rivals Aston Villa, with a trip to Leicester on the opening day of the season.
The Villans are back in the Premier League and will be one of the first fixtures that the Molineux fans will have looked for when the schedule was released on Thursday.
Nuno Espirito Santo welcomes Dean Smith’s men to the Black Country on November 9, with the return fixture pencilled in for April 4.
Proceedings will kick off with a trip to the King Power Stadium where a talented Foxes outfit under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers will be waiting.
Both clubs are vying to be ‘best of the rest’ outside the top six and will get an early sighter of each other in the East Midlands.
The remainder of August sees Ole Gunnar Solskjaer bring his Manchester United side to Molineux the week after the Leicester clash before the visit of Burnley and a trip to Everton.
Wolves failed to win any of their first three games in 2018-19 and Nuno will hope for a better return this time around, with many players linked to the club this summer as he looks to strengthen.
They impressed in their first season back in the top flight and the challenge now is to push on to try to nudge the top six.
