Striker linked with Eagles move
Crystal Palace are in a race with Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen for the services of Fulham star Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Following Fulham’s relegation to the Championship they are expected to lose their best players and Mitrovic is said to be one of those on his way.
Palace are always on the lookout for new talent and the 24-year-old Serbian falls into that bracket, but they are not alone as Leverkusen could also move for him and West Ham have been linked as well.
The Cottagers do not want the striker to leave after he netted 11 times in their relegation season but are unlikely to be able to keep him so will demand £30m for his services.
That fee is unlikely to put off Palace, especially if they have received a massive payout themselves for either Wilfried Zaha or Aaron Wan-Bissaka who have both been linked with a move away from Selhurst Park.
