Spurs set huge asking price for Eriksen
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has reportedly told potential suitors they will have to pay £130million to sign Christian Eriksen.
Denmark international Eriksen has been an integral part of Spurs’ first team since joining from Ajax in 2013, making 204 Premier League appearances and scoring 49 goals.
However, the 27-year-old is yet to win any silverware during his time in England, having finished runner-up in the League Cup and Champions League, and there are suggestions he is looking for a new challenge.
The midfielder has just over a year left on his contract and there are a number of top European clubs ready to test Tottenham’s resolve with a sizeable summer offer.
With Eriksen’s contract running out, it was thought a cut-price deal could have been on the cards but Levy appears to have other ideas, having reportedly slapped a £130m valuation on his star asset.
Due to the high fee, it is claimed interested parties will wait until January before attempting to sign the Dane on a pre-contract agreement.
