Leeds United chief executive Angus Kinnear says the club are happy with their current squad ahead of the new Championship season.

The Whites have been linked with four players so far after narrowly missing out on promotion in May.

Leeds lost in the Championship play-off semi-finals to Derby County but the club managed to keep hold of coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Wolves’ Helder Costa, Bournemouth’s Mark Travers, Brighton’s Ben White and Manchester City winger Jack Harrison have all been linked with moves to Elland Road, but Kinnear says the club will not panic in the transfer market.

‘We’re very confident in the squad that we’ve got,’ he told Sky Sports.

‘They came very close.

We believe they deserved to go up so we have absolute confidence in the squad, but as always we’re looking for opportunities to strengthen that squad and if those opportunities come along we’ll take them.’
