Sanches wants out at Bayern
It has emerged that Renato Sanches does not want to kick a ball for Bayern Munich ever again after another frustrating season.
The 21-year-old has been on the Bavarians’ books since 2016 but never been able to nail down a regular starting berth at the Allianz Arena.
The Portugal midfielder made 17 Bundesliga appearances in his first season at the club and 17 in the campaign just finished, but only 10 starts across the two years.
Loaned to then Premier League club Swansea for 2017-18, the schemer had 15 outings in all competitions before injury ended his season in January 2018, with Swans manager Carlos Carvalhal saying: ‘Renato knows he has had a very bad season.
‘ Sanches was back at Bayern last term but again just a peripheral figure and Bild are reporting that he vented his spleen in the dressing room before the final game of the season – a friendly against SpVgg Lindau on May 29.
‘Thank God, just 45 minutes of FC Bayern left, then vacation and then never, never again,’ he is alleged to have said.
It remains to be seen if there are too many suitors with his record over the past three years.
