Bayern to rival Hammers for Stuttgart youngster
Bayern Munich have reportedly opened talks about signing Stuttgart youngster Ozan Kabak during the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old was part of the Stuttgart side that failed to maintain their Bundesliga status and so will play in the second tier of German football next season.
A number of players are likely to leave the Mercedes-Benz Arena this summer, with Kabak among them, and the Turkey Under-18 star is not short of suitors.
West Ham United have been linked and it was thought the centre-back might be on his way to the London Stadium, but the Bavarians’ interest may well turn the head of a player valued at around £13.5million.
The Ankara-born starlet made just 15 top-flight appearances for Stuttgart last term but reports suggest he has done enough to catch the eye of Bayern scouts.
