Everton look to make four new signings
Everton are looking to bring in up to four new players this summer, starting with Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.
The Toffees are said to be closing in on a swoop for Gomes, who impressed while on loan last season, and will cost in the region of £22million, which is something of a bargain.
However, they will not stop there and reports are rife suggesting that boss Marco Silva wants another three players to bolster all areas of his squad for the new campaign.
Everton finished eighth last season but want to push into the top six, and an injection of new quality players will be needed to do that as rival clubs continue to spend big.
It is claimed that Silva wants another central defender, right-back and a new striker to move his side on to the next level, with moves being made to get them on board.
Chelsea central defender Kurt Zouma is also said to be a top target after he impressed while on loan last season, however a mover for Celtic’s Kieran Tierney looks unlikely.
