Reuben Reid joins Cheltenham
Cheltenham have signed Forest Green striker Reuben Reid on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old has signed a one-year deal, that will be extended by 12 months if he reaches a certain number of appearances, and will join the Robins on July 1 when his Rovers contract expires.
Reid scored 12 goals in 55 appearances for Forest Green and his career has seen him play for Plymouth, Brentford, Rotherham, West Brom, Oldham, Yeovil and Exeter alongside numerous loan spells.
He told his new club’s website: ‘As always with coming to somewhere new I’m quite excited.
‘It’s been a long journey and I can take a lot from all of the places I’ve been at.
It’s all helped and added to things that have aided my football career.’
