Manchester United are said to have upped their bid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka over the weekend but there are still obstacles to the deal.

The Red Devils have made no secret of their desire to land the Eagles right-back as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to invest in youth at Old Trafford.

However, they have yet to table an offer deemed sufficient for Palace to sanction the sale of the England Under-21 man.

The south Londoners reportedly value the youngster around the £60m bid and, although United are thought to have increased their bid, it is unclear whether they have reached a level acceptable to the Palace money men.

A report in the Guardian suggests talks are ongoing between the clubs involved and they still have to deal with an issue surrounding Wilfried Zaha.

When Palace bought the forward back from the Manchester giants in 2014, United had a 20 per cent sell-on clause inserted in the deal and the Selhurst Park hierarchy want that removed before any deal with Wan-Bissaka can be done.
