Bayern still keen on Chelsea winger
Bayern Munich are reportedly still interested in signing Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer.
Hudson-Odoi was subject of major interest back in January, where the Bundesliga champions had multiple bids of up to 40million Euros rejected by the London club.
Now, fresh reports suggest Bayern are willing to go back in for the 18-year-old England winger, despite the fact he is not expected to be fit for the start of the season having suffered an Achilles injury towards the back end of last season.
Bayern are desperate for wingers following the announcement that veterans Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben would be leaving the club, and have so far been frustrated in their efforts.
Separate reports understood they made Manchester City’s Leroy Sane their number one target but City do not want to sell and the payer is not keen on going back to the Bundesliga.
Lille’s Nicolas Pepe and PSG’s Julian Draxler have also been linked but there has been no concrete interest in either player.
Chelsea may be reluctant to let Hudson-Odoi leave however, with their impending transfer ban and recent departure of Eden Hazard.
