Odubajo makes Wednesday move after leaving Brentford
Sheffield Wednesday have signed full-back Moses Odubajo on a free transfer following his release by Sky Bet Championship rivals Brentford.
The 25-year-old played 35 times in all competitions last season but the Bees chose not to trigger an option to extend his deal by a further year.
Wednesday have not disclosed the length of his contract at Hillsborough.
‘I’m looking forward to getting out on the pitch and the fans welcoming me with open arms – a lot of them already have on Twitter which has been lovely to read,’ Odubajo told swfc.co.uk.
‘The main thing for me now is that we push on and do everything we can to achieve promotion this season.
‘ Former England Under-20 international Odubajo, who began his career with Leyton Orient, had two spells at Griffin Park.
He spent three seasons with Hull from 2015 to 2018, playing under Owls boss Steve Bruce in the team which beat Wednesday in the 2016 Championship play-off final.
