Liverpool keeper Kamil Grabara joins Huddersfield on loan
Huddersfield have signed goalkeeper Kamil Grabara from Liverpool on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old agreed a long-term contract with the Reds on Monday before joining Huddersfield for the 2019-20 campaign.
Grabara, a Poland Under-21 international, had a loan spell in the Danish top division with AGF Aarhus during the second half of last season, where he made 16 appearances.
Huddersfield boss Jan Siewert told the club’s website: ‘It has been a target of ours to bring in another goalkeeper during this transfer window and I’m very happy that we have succeeded in bringing Kamil to our club.
‘He’s very well thought of by the staff at Liverpool, by our recruitment team and by our head of goalkeeping, Paul Clements.
‘He already has experience of first-team football and I can tell you that he is an extremely confident man.
‘I think our fans will really take to Kamil when they see him in the Huddersfield Town shirt.
‘I’d also like to thank Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool for allowing Kamil to take the next step in his development as a footballer with us.’
