Matuidi in line for Monaco switch
Monaco have been linked with a swoop for Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi who has been told he can leave the Italian giants.
The 32-year-old joined Juve in the summer of 2017 after six seasons with Paris Saint-Germain, penning a three-year deal in Turin.
The man capped 81 times by France still has a year left on his contract but is said to be surplus to requirements at Juve and can look for another club before the start of the new campaign.
PSG were reported to be keen but it seems as though the principality outfit are at the front of the queue for the Toulouse-born star’s signature.
Manchester United have also been linked, with Matuidi valued at around 25m euros by the Serie A club.
However, it seems likely that Juventus may well have to lower their asking price for a player who will turn 33 in April next year.
