Dyche to make changes for Fleetwood
Burnley boss Sean Dyche will continue his preparations for the new season when he takes his side to face Fleetwood Town on Tuesday afternoon.
Dyche has promised to rotate his squad to ensure everyone is getting the correct amount of game time ahead of the new season.
Those players that do not feature on Tuesday are almost certain to play in Saturday’s friendly against Wigan before the Clarets face Nice and Parma in their last two games before the season proper gets underway.
‘It’ll be about who is looking sharp, who needs more match time, who needs less,’ Dyche told the Lancashire Telegraph.
‘The next two games might be another split, obviously not on the same night but some might play 60 and some might play 90.
‘Obviously by the time the last game comes around before the season starts there’s usually, not always, but usually a sign of what the final side is going to be unless there’s knocks and injuries.
‘But the next two games we’ll use wisely but it’s still about the fitness and the sharpness of the group.’
