Taylor’s Brighton path yet to be mapped out
Brighton boss Graham Potter has yet to make a decision on the way forward for new signing Taylor Richards, who wants first-team football.
The former Manchester City youngster scored on his debut for the club in their friendly against Crawley Town last Friday but he is a long way from full fitness.
The England Under-17 international wants first-team action but whether that is at Brighton, or possibly on loan elsewhere, the boss will decide over the coming week as he steps up his fitness.
Potter told the Argus: ‘He’s ambitious, he wants a taste of first team football.
‘That’s always the challenge for young players, to get that next step from youth football.
You can see he’s got quality, he’s got ability.
‘We just need to make a good assessment of him, then try to find the right pathway to gain that first team experience.’
