Eagles complete Ayew transfer
Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson says he is delighted to have got the permanent signing of striker Jordan Ayew over the line after he signed a three-year deal.
The former Swansea striker enjoyed a season-long loan at the club last term, which included 14 starts in the Premier League, and he was keen to turn the move into a full- time switch from the Swans.
He has now signed a three-year deal with the Eagles and is looking forward to his new start.
The deal is still subject to international clearance, but that should not be a problem.
Ayew said: ‘I am very happy [to have returned].
I really enjoyed myself last season.
‘ Hodgson is delighted to have made his second signing of the summer following the capture of keeper Stephen Henderson on a free, and he told the club’s website: ‘We are delighted to secure Jordan’s services for another three seasons at Crystal Palace.
‘He has proved himself as a dedicated and hard-working member of the squad, and certainly played his part in the club securing its highest-ever Premier League points tally in the last campaign.’
