Lovren prioritising Roma move
Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren's priority is to join Roma this summer, according to agent Alessandro Lucci.
Croatia international Lovren has been heavily linked with a move to the Stadio Olimpico over recent weeks after falling behind the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez in the central defensive pecking order at Liverpool.

The two teams are believed to have been in talks over a potential transfer for some time and Lucci, who is acting as an intermediary in those negotiations, believes Lovren would prefer to make the move to Roma and he is hopeful and agreement can be reached before the close of the Italian transfer window.
“Lovren is very open to joining Roma and I think that’s obvious, seeing as we are talking about a great club,” Lucci told Tuttomercatoweb.
“I maintain every operation has its problems, especially for a player of Lovren’s calibre who reached the Champions League Final in the last two seasons.
“At times, you can overcome these obstacles. I don’t know if Lovren will join the Giallorossi, but as things stand, that would certainly be his priority.”
Lucci has also played down concerns over Lovren’s fitness, insisting the 30-year-old will be ready to hit the ground running if he joins Roma.
“I also want to counter any stories of fitness issues,” Lucci added. “At the start of last year, after an entire season and the World Cup as a protagonist to the Final for Croatia, he had pelvic strain issues that kept him out for the initial part of the campaign, but that’s all.”
