Grujic says Coutinho will be “best” in Germany
Hertha Berlin midfielder Marko Grujic says Philippe Coutinho will be the best player in Bundesliga as he nears a switch to Bayern Munich.
The Brazilian joined Barcelona from Liverpool in January 2018 but has largely disappointed in Spain and rumours surrounding his future have dominated the back pages in the last few months.
Bayern Munich look set to have won the race for his signature as they seek to complete a loan deal.
Coutinho is set to join for the season with the option to buy next summer if the move turns out to be a success.
The former Liverpool star was thought to be included in a potential deal to bring Neymar back from PSG but that did not materialise, nor did protracted moves to Tottenham and Arsenal.

And, Grujic, a former team mate of Coutinho’s at Liverpool, says Bayern will be elevated to a new level with the acquisition of the 27-year-old.
“It’s a big thing for the whole Bundesliga to have the possibility to see Coutinho play now,” he told Bild.
“He is a special and exciting player, he does crazy things. He got incredible tricks and skills in his locker. I enjoyed every training session with him in Liverpool. He will be by far the best footballer in Germany.”
