He was then quick to call out Haye, who was ringside for the bout, and the duo exchanged words after Bellew’s win.
Bellew claimed he would fight at heavyweight in order to take on Haye and now the 33-year-old has revealed talks have taken place between both camps.
“My team has spoken and his team have spoken. I leave it with Eddie Hearn,” he told Sky Sports News HQ. “Eddie Hearn looks after me, he’s guided me and my career brilliantly so far. I’m world champion, I’m the best cruiserweight in the world.
“We’ll see where it goes. Ultimately the two teams have spoken, we have come together. Talks have got under way and we’ll go from here.”
