Jack loses appeal

Rangers FC

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has lost his appeal over the red card he was shown in the victory over Aberdeen for a foul on Stevie May.

The Gers had appealed the decision on the grounds that Jack made a connection with the ball first.

However, a panel of judges ruled that referee Willie Collum’s decision to show a start red card was right and they dismissed the clubs’ application.

Jack will now be suspended for three games and will sit out the fixtures against Ross County, Hibernian and St Johnstone.
