Keeper hints at move away

Crystal Palace

Steve Mandanda has cast doubt on his future at Crystal Palace after admitting he would like to join a 'bigger English club'.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper only joined the Eagles in the summer after leaving Marseille on a free transfer after his contract expired, but his stay may be a short one.

Despite Palace’s struggles in the Premier League this season, Mandanda has managed to put in some impressive displays in the Palace goal and his form has not gone unnoticed elsewhere.

It remains to be seen if any offers from rival clubs will come in during the winter or summer transfer window, but the player seems open to a move away.

“I had wanted to change and discover the Premier League,” Mandanda told Telefoot. “Could I end up at a bigger English club? It will depend on my performances. In football, anything is possible.”
