Meanwhile, Remy is aware of the Cup’s pedigree and knows a run in the competition would be good but he is wary of losing focus on the main prize, which is staying in the Premier League.
“I know the FA Cup by name,” he said. “We have the Coupe de France in France and I think it’s a great club competition and could be very prestigious for QPR.
“Given the situation we are in, in the Premier League at the moment, it’s not a small, unimportant competition.
“Ultimately we need to be watchful as if we focus too much on the FA Cup, we’ll lose track on the Premier League. That’s what is important.”
