Whyte would accept AJ fight

British boxer Dillian Whyte says he would "100 percent" accept a rematch with Anthony Joshua.

The two fighters went toe-to-toe at the 02 Arena back in 2015 with Joshua, who is one of the biggest draws in boxing right now, picking up a TKO victory to maintain his undefeated record.

Watford’s star has racked up another five wins since disposing of Whyte, beating Carlos Takam, Wladimir Klitschko, Eric Molina, Dominic Breazeale and Charles Martin.

All the hype is currently surrounding a potential bout between AJ and Joseph Parker but negotiations are in deadlock with the American champion’s promoter accusing the Brit of “refusing to compromise”.

Whyte is also waiting to find out who his next opponent will be and he has now revealed he would accept a rematch with Joshua if the contest made financial sense for him.

“Yeah, 100 percent. Ever since the fight, I’ve always wanted that fight, but it’s a business as well as pride and all of that,” he said. “As I’m older, I’m realising that this kind of fight – there is a lot of revenue and I bring a lot of value to the table as well.

“I’m happy to take the fight, but I’ve got to be compensated the right way, that’s all it is.”
