The Seagulls captain failed to finish last weekend’s 3-1 victory over West Brom due to the recurrence of a back injury, forcing him from the field early in the second half.
The 36-year-old’s availability for Friday’s south-coast encounter was thought to be in doubt but manager Chris Hughton has allayed those fears by claiming the defender is “fine” and available for the clash with the Cherries.
As a result, Hughton is expected to name the same team that recorded Brighton’s first win of the season, with Izzy Brown not yet fit enough to be considered after returning to training this week.
Meanwhile, Hughton says he does not expect Sam Baldock to be available until mid-October as he continues his recovery from calf surgery.
He said: “At this moment we’ve got two number nines (Tomer Hemed and Glenn Murray) that are fit and Sam is still going to be a little while.
“I see him probably being a month away still.”
Pedro stepped off the bench to send Chelsea into the FA Cup semi-finals after they beat Leicester 2-1 at the King Power Stadium on Sunday evening.
RB Leipzig came from behind at the Red Bull Arena to end a run of four winless games and defeat Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich 2-1 on Sunday.
