Propper likely to be available

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton are hopeful that midfielder Davy Propper will be fit for Sunday’s meeting with Everton at the Amex Stadium.

Propper netted for the Netherlands in their 3-1 over Belarus on Saturday then missed Tuesday’s win over Sweden after picking up a minor hip injury.

Chris Hughton is expecting the summer signing to shake off the issue and start his eighth consecutive Premier League game.

However, striker Tomer Hemed is unavailable after being handed a three-game suspension for a stamp on Newcastle defender DeAndre Yedlin.

Sam Baldock and Beram Kayal are long-term absentees but could both feature for the Under-23 side on Monday as they step up their recoveries.
