QPR sign Kazenga LuaLua on loan from Brighton

Brighton & Hove Albion

QPR have announced the loan signing of Kazenga LuaLua from Brighton.

The former Newcastle winger will remain at Loftus Road until the end of the season.

LuaLua has not featured for Brighton’s first team since undergoing knee surgery in September, though he was sent off playing in the Checkatrade Trophy for the Seagulls’ under-23 side in December.

QPR boss Ian Holloway told the club’s website: “To get someone of Kazenga’s ability in is just what we need at this time.

“I think he gives us something we’re missing. He’s got pace, he can beat his man; and he has experience of playing at this level.”

LuaLua said: “The manager has made it clear what he wants from me. He’s a good manager and once he showed his interest in me, the first thing on my mind was to get the deal done.”
