A goalless stalemate at the Stadium of Light in the FA Cup third round on Saturday means the Clarets will welcome the Black Cats to Turf Moor on January 17.
Some managers would be desperate to avoid another fixture, having just come through a hectic festive period.
However Dyche has no concerns about another game, having only recently coming through the regular tests of playing two games in the Championship per week.
He said: “I’m not bothered about having another fixture to play. We’ve just come out of the Championship where you are constantly playing.
“In the Premier League we do have some breaks and generally it’s week to week, rather than Saturday/Tuesday/Saturday.
“I don’t remember us crying it in. When a game comes along, we take on the challenge and see what comes.”
