Keane – Our focus is on Lincoln

Burnley defender Michael Keane insists the club are far too professional to overlook Lincoln City ahead of this weekend's clash.

The two sides will meet in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday, with the Clarets hosting their non-league opponents.

Burnley go into the game in good form, having won two of their last five games and also securing a 1-1 draw against league leaders Chelsea.

Manager Sean Dyche has claimed his side can cope with the challenge of an FA Cup run as well as trying to stay in the top flight and Keane insists nobody is expecting a cake-walk.

He told the Burnley Express: “We want to get through to that quarter-final. We’re not going to take it lightly, it’ll be a tough game because they’ve done brilliant to get this far, but we need to make sure that they don’t go any further.

“We can’t underestimate them. They’ve got some good players and we’ll look at their team this week. To get this far they’ve obviously been doing something right so we’ll have to be aware of what they’re capable of. If we play like we can do then we’ll win the tie.”
