Striker linked with Juve

Italian giants Juventus are reported to be lining up a January swoop for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku is due to spend the season on loan at Everton but reports in Italy claim that Juventus will attempt to broker a deal that will see the striker move to Turin when the window re-opens.

Whether such a deal can be hammered out remains to be seen, while it is unlikely that Jose Mourinho will consider cashing in on the talented striker, who has already proven he can score goals on a regular basis in the Premier League.

It came as a surprise that Lukaku was loaned out to Everton but he is sure to be firmly in the plans of the Chelsea boss next season and a permanent move away looks unlikely.

The rumours appear to have kickstarted after Lukaku appointed Italian Mino Raiola, who oversaw Paul Pogba’s move from Manchester United to Juventus, as his new agent.
