Double boost for Palace

Crystal Palace

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and James Tomkins are back in contention for Roy Hodgson's first game as Crystal Palace manager.

The Eagles host Southampton in the early kick-off on Saturday as they begin life without Frank de Boer, who was axed after four successive defeats.

Loftus-Cheek and Tomkins both missed the loss at Burnley last time out but have recovered and could be involved in former England boss Hodgson’s first game in the hot seat.

Wilfried Zaha is missing with a knee injury and the game is likely to come too soon for Mamadou Sakho and Pape Souare, who are lacking match fitness.
