Eagles striker may move

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce is said to be considering allowing striker Christian Benteke to move on in order to generate funds.

The £30million signing from Liverpool last summer could be sacrificed by the new Eagles manager as he looks to raise the money to make his own moves in the transfer market.

Palace would want all of the fee they paid the Reds before they considered a sale but if that sort of offer does come in, Allardyce might sell in order to land his own targets.

The former England boss has seen a £9.5million bid for Leicester winger Jeffrey Schlupp turned down and is also keen on Norwich midfielder Robbie Brady.
