Valencia unavailable against Hammers

Everton's on-loan striker Enner Valencia is ineligible to face his parent club West Ham while James McCarthy is still absent.

Valencia, who has been the subject of speculation this week that he could be set to join the Blues on a permanent deal in the summer, cannot face the Hammers this weekend as Everton go in search of another win to keep the pressure on the top six.

McCarthy may not feature again this season as he continues to struggle with a hamstring problem while Muhamed Besic is edging closer to a first-team return following his knee injury, but Saturday’s clash comes too soon.

Ramiro Funes Mori and Yannick Bolasie (both knee), Seamus Coleman (broken leg) and Aaron Lennon all remain out long term.

Provisional squad: Robles, Holgate, Williams, Jagielka, Baines, Schneiderlin, Gueye, Barkley, Davies, Mirallas, Lukaku, Stekelenburg, Pennington, Kenny, Barry, Williams, Calvert-Lewin, Lookman, Kone.
