Bryan set for Newcastle switch
Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez is planning to make a move for Fulham’s Joe Bryan, reports say.
The Spaniard is still trying to resolve his future at St James’ Park but he has already identified some of his transfer targets for this summer.
Benitez is looking for a new striker, while a left-back is also on his agenda.
Former Bristol City man Bryan has only been at Fulham since last summer, but he could soon find himself at another Premier League club.
The Cottagers paid £6million for his services last year but Scott Parker now faces a fight to keep him, with Benitez looking for a left-sided defender who can also play as a wing-back.
Newcastle are set to allow Antonio Barreca to return to Monaco, paving the way for Bryan to potentially join in the coming weeks.
