Huddersfield Town v Liverpool
Struggling Huddersfield will be hoping to cause a surprise at the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday when they face unbeaten Liverpool.
After narrowly avoiding relegation last season, the Terriers look set for another campaign of struggle as they are yet to win in the Premier League this term, picking up just three points from eight games.
David Wagner’s side did produce an improved showing when they drew 1-1 at Burnley before the international break but goals remain a major concern, particularly at home, as they have not netted in the league at the John Smith’s since April.
The Terriers, who lost both matches against Liverpool last season 3-0, should be boosted by the availability of Philip Billing and Isaac Mbenza, who have shaken off respective ankle and knee injuries.
However, Tommy Smith, Terrence Kongolo and Danny Williams all remain on the sidelines.
Liverpool have their own injury concerns to contend with after a busy international break as Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane all picked up knocks representing their countries and will be assessed.
Naby Keita was also injured on international duty with Senegal and the hamstring problem he picked up means he joins James Milner in being ruled out.
The Reds have failed to win any of their last four games in all competitions but their 0-0 draw with Manchester City last time out underlined the new resilience Jurgen Klopp has installed in his team this season.
