Danes come calling for Terriers duo

Huddersfield Town

Denmark have called up Huddersfield duo Jonas Lossl and Mathias 'Zanka' Jorgensen for their international friendlies later this month.

Danish coach Age Hareide has drafted in 29-year-old Terriers goalkeeper, Lossl, as back up to Leicester City custodian Kasper Schmeichel, while 27-year-old central defender Zanka joins him.

Both players are likely to get some game time in their matches against Panama in Brondby on Thursday, March 22, and Copa America champions Chile in Aalborg five days later.

In addition to Schmeichel, the Town duo will link up with fellow Premier League stars Andreas Christensen and Christian Eriksen in the squad.

They are the latest Huddersfield players to win call-ups ahead of the two-week international break as Philip Billing is in Denmark’s Under-21 squad for their friendly clash against Austria and a European Championships qualifying match against Georgia, while Aaron Mooy is set to feature for Australia in friendly games against Norway and Colombia.
