Karius was selected over the Belgian to play against Sevilla in Wednesday’s Champions League tie, which finished 2-2, but Mignolet will be back in the line-up for the Premier League clash against the Clarets.
The game could also mark the return to league action for Philippe Coutinho after he made his first appearance of the season as a sub in midweek.
Coutinho handed in a transfer request after several bids from Barcelona were rejected over the summer but no move materialised in the end and Klopp says the Brazilian star is ready to play this weekend.
“He should be ready. He has trained outstanding in the few sessions we’ve had so far together since he was back,” the Reds boss said in his press conference.
Coutinho could take the place of Sadio Mane, who is starting a three-game ban for the red card picked up against Manchester City, although Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also vying for that spot, while Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana are still ruled out through injury.
With Klopp expected to make changes, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Daniel Sturridge and Andrew Robertson will all also hope to start against Sean Dyche’s side.
Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen admits missing out on the chance to join Newcastle in January left him frustrated.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek hopes there is enough time left to secure a place in England's World Cup squad after returning to action.
James Tarkowski has credited Sean Dyche for his England call-up, admitting he would have found it 'difficult' to represent Poland.
