Top duo target Mane

Liverpool could face a battle to keep Sadio Mane as Real Madrid and Barcelona are both said to be interested.

Mane has been a revelation since joining the Reds from Southampton in a £34million deal last summer, and has already chipped in with three goals this season after returning from injury.

The forward sat out Saturday’s clash with Burnley after picking up a three-match suspension, and his presence was sorely missed as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw against the Clarets at Anfield.

Mane’s impressive form has not gone unnoticed elsewhere and reports now suggest that both Barca and Real Madrid are keen, while Italian champions Juventus could also enter the running for his signature.

Barca tried and failed to land Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho in the summer, and reports in Spain now suggest they could switch their attentions to Mane in the hope that the Reds will be more open to doing a deal.

That is unlikely to be the case, but the Reds are bracing themselves for interest nonetheless.
