Abraham coy on international future

Swansea loanee Tammy Abraham admits that he is unsure about what his future holds at international level.

The 20-year-old has represented England at a number of youth levels up to the Under-21 side but is yet to earn a call up at senior level.

Abraham is unlikely to force his way into contention with England ahead of the 2018 World Cup and it has been suggested that he could instead pledge his loyalty to Nigeria, who have also qualified for the showpiece event.

The hit-man has refused to rule out switching his focus to the Super Eagles and insists he is unsure about where his future lies on the international stage.

He said: “There are a lot of things going on. For me that is a sign you are doing something right if Nigeria are fighting for you and England want you as well.

“I’m happy right now and just want to keep playing my football. Nothing has happened. I’m not too sure what is going on.”
